The school community and the P&C have designated Wadalba Community School as a uniform wearing school.
School Skirt: It has come to the attention of the school that some girls are wearing the incorrect School skirt as part of the Wadalba Community School uniform. The Wadalba Community School skirt is a pleated checked skirt. No other design is acceptable and contravenes the school's Welfare and Discipline Policy.
All girls will be required to have the correct pleated skirt to wear as part of their uniform by the beginning of Term 2, 2013. The transition period to change into the new skirt has been allowed as the school is aware that parents/carers have purchased the incorrect skirt from Duckies in good faith. The pleated skirt is available from the school uniform shop at a price of $45.
School Shoes: From the start of Term 1, 2013 all students will be required to wear black leather shoes. These shoes must be enclosed and provide appropriate protection. No other shoe will be acceptable on any day other than sport day. On sport day, joggers will be the only acceptable form of footwear. Appropriate footwear is a Work, Health and Safety issue and non-compliance will be dealt with in accordance with the Wadalba Community School's Welfare and Discipline Policy.
Images of appropriate uniform and footwear can be found on the Wadalba Community School Website.
Thank you to all parents/carers in supporting your student and Wadalba Community School in the enforcement of the correct school uniform.
