Anti-Racism Contact Officers
Wadalba Community School is committed to ensuring “Racism stops with us” and that all forms of racial discrimination are eliminated in our school. Our Anti-racism Contact Officers (ARCOs) support students who are affected by racism, deal with students who demonstrate racist behaviour and work on implementing anti-racism intervention strategies throughout the school.
If a student is experiencing racism they can speak with any teacher or directly with an ARCO to gain support and intervention with the racism they are facing. Alternatively, parent/s or carer/s can contact the school and ask to speak with any of our friendly ARCO about the experience of racism their child is facing. See our current 2023 ARCOs at WCS below.
