Welcome to Year 9 Mathematics
This is part of a 2 year course and will be completed at the end of Year 10.. All students will be completing the 5.1 course, most students will complete 5.2 and some will complete 5.3. Please feel free to discuss this with the classroom teacher or Head Teacher, Mrs Tricia Von Pralitz.
Students are encouraged to complete some regular revison. Opportunites like the schools homework Centre and ixl maths are useful places to help with revision in Mathematics
The Mathematics Faculty recommends that all students use a CASIO fx-82 plus calculator. These calculators may be purchased from the school canteen for $35. The CASIO fx-82 plus is very user friendly and caters for all students from Years 7 to 12.
All calculators may be submitted to the Mathematics Faculty to have the student's name engraved on the back.
