Resources and Additional Information

The libraries aim is to be flexible and future focused to meet the changing learning and information needs of our school community.  Our library is open for recess and lunch and throughout the periods of the day for senior student study and classes booked in with their teacher.   We provide a warm and welcoming environment, and we encourage all students to relax, complete schoolwork and borrow from the library.

Library services are focused on resourcing and servicing the needs of each student at their stage/age and level of learning.  Our library offers spaces for teaching, quiet reading, studying, areas for collaborative meetings or just being.

Reading and borrowing from the Library

Our new books are on display throughout the library and are available for borrowing.  Students may borrow up to five books for a period of two weeks.  Holiday borrowing is encouraged.  To view the library catalogue login via the DE student portal and click on the ‘Oliver Library’ link, which is an important link for you to find the books you’ll love to read and increase knowledge on any subject.
